This month's updates include improvements to Admin Web Reservations Reports, improvements to DVIR Templates, and Admin Web now supports surfacing shared services across different TripShot instances using GTFS/GTFS-RT.
Android Updates
Driver App - 2023-12-12
Improve
- Support multiple vehicle DVIR templates. Now supporting multiple vehicle DVIR templates based on Vehicle Type.

Web Updates
Admin Web - 2023-12-15
Improve
- Delete users that are no longer in the Google Workday file. This is to track the deletion of users no longer applicable to use the TripShot mobile app. This is intended for one client.
- Added Reservations Reports Endpoints to TS API Documentation. v1/reservation, v1/reservationUsageReport, v1/reservationReport, v1/reservationRideUsageReport
- Hide Multiple DVIR Templates Behind Experiment Flag. This is to track the enabling of a new experiment flag for the usage of ‘Multiple DVIR Templates’, a new tool for agencies to utilize more than one set of DVIR inspection items across vehicle types.
- DVIR Templates' page should be disabled for all users other than Admin. This is to track restricting the usage of the DVIR Templates tab to Admin users only. All other users other than admins will now have ‘read only’ access to this tab. As this was discovered prior to implementation for any clients, this will not have been felt by end users.
- Users can create a new DVIR Template without providing any details. This is to correct an issue felt while attempting to save a new DVIR template without any information populated in the admin console. As this was discovered prior to implementation for any clients, this will not have been felt by end users.
- No scrollbar is displayed on the DVIR Templates page, as a result we are unable to view all the listed DVIR Items. This is to correct an issue felt while attempting to scroll through the entire list of DVIR Templates created in a single instance. As this was discovered prior to implementation for any clients, this will not have been felt by end users.
- Able to delete DVIR items associated with DVIR templates. This is to correct an issue found while attempting to delete DVIR Items. As this was discovered prior to implementation for any clients, this will not have been felt by end users.
- Multiple DVIR Templates > Remove Experiment Flag. Removing experiment flag since the required driver app update has been released.
Fix
- Inconsistency in showing deleted vehicles names in 'Vehicles' selector and 'Vehicle Usage' report on 'Reports >> Vehicle Usage' page. This is to correct an issue felt when viewing deleted vehicles in the Vehicle Usage Report. Now when this report is run and deleted vehicles are present in the report, they will be designated with a ‘(DELETED)’ suffix.
- Cropped text is displayed in the 'Fare Class' dropdown due to the small frame size on 'Routes' page. This is to correct an issue felt when selecting the ‘Fare Class’ dropdown within the Routes tab > Route Editor. Now the Fare Class text will no longer be cropped and all text will be visible.
- FareClass' drop-down is not displayed while creating a new parking, until parking page is refreshed. Fixes issue where Fare Class drop down is not displayed while creating a new parking lot until page is refreshed.
- No DVIR items are displayed while trying to create a DVIR Template. This is to correct an issue found while creating new DVIR Templates. As this was discovered prior to implementation for any clients, this will not have been felt by end users.
Beta
- Valet | Previously selected valet service's coordinates are displayed when the admin saves a new valet service with blank coordinates on the 'Valet >> Service' page. Valet - Fixes an issue when saving a new valet service without coordinates is accepted. Coordinates are required.
- Valet | Newly added valet service does not appear as highlighted in the list view on 'Valet >> Services' page. Valet - Fixes an issue when a new valet service is not highlighted in the list view.
- Valet | Update After Hours Terminology "Slot" to "Lock Box" - [Web Landing Page]. Valet - Updates web landing page terminology change from slot to lockbox.
Admin Web - 2023-12-21

- Integrated Services | TripShot Shared Instances. Support surfacing shared services across different TripShot instances using GTFS/GTFS-RT. Backend setup required.
Improve
- Within Tripshot Admin Web > Stops, add Stop filter for On Demand stops. This will allow users to filter by On Demand, Fixed Route or all Stops in the Stops screen.
- Optionally use map provider matrix time calls rather than direction calls when computing fixed route ETAs. This update is to track the implementation of matrix calls to our mapping providers that help reduce the amount of calls required to receive updated fixed route ride ETAs. This is backend-driven and will not be felt by end users.
- Make Braintree merchant id and credentials configurable per instance. Implementation for Leros supporting braintree configurable per instance.
- Clean Up: Remove Hella V7 Module. Backend cleanup. Removes original Here code.
- Improve CustomSelectBox accessibility. Accessibility work.
Beta
- Valet | Support Indexing by Name and Phone Number. Valet - Backed end support for searching by Name and Phone number. Followup mobile ticket required.
- Valet | Make Parking Lot Association Optional [Front End]. Parking lot association is now optional in the front end.
- Valet | Keyboxes should be soft-deleted. Implementation of soft deletion to Valet Keyboxes.
- Valet | Keyboxes V1 should be aware of V2 deletion. Backed end change that supports soft deletion of keyboxes.
- Valet | ‘N/A' displayed when admin attempts to delete the keybox on 'Valet >> Keyboxes' page. Valet
- Valet | Error page is displayed on navigating to the 'Valet' page. Valet
- External Codes | External Codes Report "Redeemed External Codes" to Include User Email Column. Redeemed External Codes Report now has column “User Email”.

- Suppress all emails for users of an instance. Added ability to suppress all emails.

Fix
- Error message is displayed on Trip Planner page, when selecting the 'Bicycle' option under 'Off Route Travel Mode' & save. Correcting this behavior.
