This month our team was focused on improving our admin experience with updates to the on-demand functionality. Read on to learn about our latest enhancements and fixes.
Web Updates
Admin Web - 2025-04-01
New
- Support (MDS) Mobility Data Specification Export for SFMTA Reporting
- Reservations are automatically transferred to a new route service when a replacement route service is created.
- New setting adds an additional column in the trip screen called Boarding. This indicates when an arrival at a stop is drop off only.
- Pickup stop tags, drop-off stop tags and vehicle tags added to the User Requests report
- Adds updated ride candidates view with required experiment flag. This allows users to see additional details when making an On Demand request in regards to how adding in a request may impact the pickup or drop-off time of an existing request.
Improve
- Improve user search results in OD ride request panel in dispatch. Searching by the username, first name, last name or user id will now return the exact matches first.
- Changes in badge configs, to allow the driver app to ignore badge prefixes when matching badge swipes.
- Admins can now set the currency for a user’s wallet (only when the user has 0 balance) in the admin portal.
- Admins can now set the currency for a user’s wallet via the user export/import.
Fix
- Bug fix where the same user was returned by the GET app/v1/user endpoint multiple times when they were part of multiple namespaces.
- Bug fix for readonly admin being unable to view alerts on 'Dispatch' page.
- Bug fix for OD ride that were disappearing when the associated OD service dates were changed. The fix reschedules the OD rides if possible and cancels if not, while keeping the rides in the OD reports.
